The "Long Life" is an image of Heaven and Earth, as they appear in a timeless world that is part of the "noumenal", where it expresses only the "original nature". A world in which phenomena are subject to bias and to change, a world of permanence, you get infinite moment to moment, putting in the right space between Heaven and Earth. A man or a woman, with her feet firmly planted on the ground and his head hanging from the sky is the image of an individual who has reached the "Long Life".
This image, attributed to Mencius (Mengzi, IV century BC), describes the concept of long life: a man placed vertically, upright, with the upper limbs and rounded face up (the Sky ), the lower limbs, more square, facing down (the Earth). Ideally oriented in space, arms and legs are in harmony with respect to the central axis of the body, the top opens up (Sky), the lower level down (the Earth). Qi Gong and Yi Jing - I Six Dragons fly to Heaven
Refer to the pictures Yi Jing, the Book of Changes in the practice of Qi Gong is inevitable.
